Bournemouth welcome Brentford to the Vitality Stadium in a fixture between two teams whose early results tell only part of the story.

Bournemouth's league table position is misleading. They have led all three matches and shown enough attacking quality to suggest their first victory under Rose is not far away. But Brentford are almost the worst possible opponent for a team currently struggling to protect narrow advantages.

Andrews' side are physical, disciplined and unbeaten. Their midfield can compete with Bournemouth's intensity, while their historical record in this fixture is exceptional: five wins and three draws from eight Premier League meetings.

The Vitality Stadium gives Bournemouth a genuine advantage, and their performances have been better than their results. That makes backing either team outright difficult.

Instead, the most convincing scenario is another competitive Bournemouth performance followed by a match that becomes increasingly open after half-time. Given what has happened to the Cherries repeatedly during the closing stages, Brentford may once again find a way back into it.
